The Greek islands have a light all of their own: chalk-white rock, water that runs from turquoise to ink, and a sun that flattens everything into clean shapes. Our Greek prints come mostly from Milos, with a few from Paros. Here is how they differ, and how to choose one.
Milos
Milos is a volcanic island, and its coastline looks unlike anywhere else in the Aegean: pale, carved rock, sea caves and coves you can only reach by boat. Milos Rocks and Milos from above show that rock from the air. Finding Balance in Milos and Find Your Paradise - Milos Beach bring in swimmers and sunbathers for scale, and Milos Love and Milos Memories are softer, more personal images.
Paros
Paros is greener and gentler, with sandy beaches and fishing harbours. Lifeguard's Life, Paros is a quiet, graphic image of a lifeguard tower on an empty beach, and it pairs well with the busier Milos prints.
Graphic prints from above
Some of our Greek prints are almost abstract. Look Left, Look Right and Ocean Blues reduce the coast to colour and line, and they suit modern interiors where a recognisable landmark would feel too literal.
How to style Greek island prints
- White walls, natural textures. The pale rock and blue water sit naturally against white, linen, rattan and timber. They are an easy fit for coastal homes in Australia, especially on the Gold Coast and in other beachside suburbs.
- Pairs and groups. Two Milos prints side by side, one from the air and one at sea level, make a strong pair above a bed or a sideboard. Our sets and pairs are already matched.
- Size. The aerial prints hold up at our largest sizes. Our sizing guide covers how big to go above a sofa or bed.
- Try it on your wall. Use the wall tool, or send us a photo for a free mock-up.
