These terms apply when you use contemplo.shop or buy from Contemplo ("we", "us"). By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

Orders and pricing

All prices are in Australian dollars. We may change prices or the range at any time, but the price shown at checkout when you place your order is the price you pay. An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, because of a pricing error), we will contact you and refund any amount paid.

Our artworks

Each work is printed to order on archival photographic paper with a white border, unframed or framed. Colours on screen vary between devices, and as each piece is produced individually, minor variations in colour, paper texture and framing are a normal part of fine art printing and are not defects. Mock-ups and room images are for illustration and scale only.

Copyright and use of images

All photographs, artworks and content on this site are owned by or licensed to Contemplo and are protected by copyright. Buying a print gives you ownership of that physical print only; it does not transfer copyright or any right to copy, scan, reproduce, publish or use the image commercially. You may share links to our site and photos of a Contemplo print hanging in your own home on social media with credit to @contemplo_art. For commercial, editorial or licensing enquiries, please contact us.

Trade accounts and commissions

Trade pricing, commissions and project work are subject to a separate written quote and terms.

Website use

You must not misuse the site, attempt to interfere with its operation, or use automated tools to copy its content. We try to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited to replacing or re-supplying the goods, or paying the cost of doing so.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
